25D19 is a powerhouse hybrid designed for the Deep South's challenging conditions. With its remarkable drought and heat tolerance, it performs very well in tough years. It can wait for a rain and still produce tremendously girthy ears. This hybrid stands tall with wide leaves, offering excellent canopy coverage. While it excels in grain production on tough ground, in spite of its large plant size, 25D19 really only tons well relative to our other hybrids in silage production when in an extremely stressful environment. 25D19’s fantastic health package allows it to excel in the hot muggy nights of the Deep South.

25D19's robust plant health and strong disease tolerance make it a reliable choice for southern rust-prone areas. Its tall stature and wide leaves provide excellent row coverage, but it's not the best fit for high-end silage yield situations unless under stress.
